The content reads like a discrete withdrawal from the campaign.

The comment about Romney's suspended campaign signaling NO brokered convention is one with which I highly disagree.

Here are my reasons:

First, the conclusion presumes that John McCain will be the Republican Nominee by initial acclaim at the convention. I am convinced that McCain is not a loyal candidate and that he represents the absolute worst of our corrupt two-party system of authoritarian government and dissolution of individual rights, liberty and property. McCain, Clinton and Obama are fully and transparently interchangeable for tyranny in our immediate future.

I believe that McCain will be found out and discredited in disgrace.

Second, the conclusion presumes that no one is listening to the message of Individual Rights, Liberty and Self-Determination that Ron Paul and we Volunteers have brought to our general population to renew the American Spirit of Liberty and real honor of this formerly free society.

Six months ago nobody knew Ron Paul or thought about the purpose of our government, the Constitution or individual rights in their private and public conversations.

Today, the Spirit is alive and the renewed Promise of Peace and Liberty is on the lips of our young adults and in the happy greetings of our peers, although they be strangers to us personally. We see this every day. We made this happen.

What we accomplished in 2007 was a miracle. Today, we have a public awakening which can blossom into a new era for Liberty or sputter into the obscurity and despair of authoritarian communitarianism for a thousand years. Our opponents have that power and they will use it if we cannot or will not stand together TODAY for our lives and our future.

There are many of us now independently exploring new cliques and cooperative activities intended to consolidate and expand our abilities into larger and more forceful, effective operations. These must continue. Find one. Help them. Join them. We have no single plan except to have Liberty in our own hands.

Others of us are discussing similar cooperation, but based upon traditional, business/scientific project planning for goal achievement with deadlines, milestones, identified resources and professional implementation. Join us or help us as we bring our plans public.

There are also countless tens of thousands of us who are not and will never be amenable to the kind of organization, personal sacrifice and intense cooperation necessary to challenge 200 years of subterfuge and a century of outright treason of good intentions and abominable public education. For those of us who fit this pattern, I ask you to speak out, stand up, donate, march, wave signs . . .  do SOMETHING that helps. Do something you can tell your kids that you are proud to do for Liberty. They will ask eventually and you should be able to answer with honor and pride. Do not accept the shame of inaction and silence.

No one said it would be easy and we encounter obvious counter-forces at play each day. Some are conduct by confused, jealous or misguided friends, others are deliberately disruptive acts by our enemies and opponents. They all have the same effect and we must be wary of those who bring us rumors, warnings and alienation in their words and deeds.

We should remember our friends and loyal companions, and we must not forget our enemies.

I am asking that we all choose our most comfortable path, but to deliberately and openly commit the time, money and resources demanded for another miracle in these next six months before the Republican Nominating Convention.

Commit to funding a Fifty Million Dollar Campaign and Volunteer Promotion! 

Commit to running for the House of Representatives or to the support of someone who will run. 

Commit to such simple things as small ads in local newspapers, on local radio stations and offering to speak at your local community events, organizations, schools and churches. 

Discover your niche and act to make it happen!

Today and this year hold the moments of decision we have been waiting for. Now is the time to Stand Tall and Free and Declare for Liberty! We are the leaders we have been waiting for.

We can do this!

Whoa! What a year this has been. And what achievements we have had. If I may quote Trotsky of all people, this Revolution is permanent. It will not end at the Republican convention. It will not end in November. It will not end until we have won the great battle on which we have embarked. Not because of me, but because of you. Millions of Americans -- and friends in many other countries -- have dedicated themselves to the principles of liberty: to free enterprise, limited government, sound money, no income tax, and peace. We will not falter so long as there is one restriction on our persons, our property, our civil liberties. How much I owe you. I can never possibly repay your generous donations, hard work, whole-hearted dedication and love of freedom. How blessed I am to be associated with you. Carol, of course, sends her love as well.

Let me tell you my thoughts. With Romney gone, the chances of a brokered convention are nearly zero. But that does not affect my determination to fight on, in every caucus and primary remaining, and at the convention for our ideas, with just as many delegates as I can get. But with so many primaries and caucuses now over, we do not now need so big a national campaign staff, and so I am making it leaner and tighter. Of course, I am committed to fighting for our ideas within the Republican party, so there will be no third party run. I do not denigrate third parties -- just the opposite, and I have long worked to remove the ballot-access restrictions on them. But I am a Republican, and I will remain a Republican.

I also have another priority. I have constituents in my home district that I must serve. I cannot and will not let them down. And I have another battle I must face here as well. If I were to lose the primary for my congressional seat, all our opponents would react with glee, and pretend it was a rejection of our ideas. I cannot and will not let that happen.

In the presidential race and the congressional race, I need your support, as always. And I have plans to continue fighting for our ideas in politics and education that I will share with you when I can, for I will need you at my side. In the meantime, onward and upward! The neocons, the warmongers, the socialists, the advocates of inflation will be hearing much from you and me.
